James Hutchinson has been singing in Edinburgh since
childhood. While growing up in the city he sang treble and then tenor at Old St
Paul’s church. He was a choral scholar at St Andrews University, where he first
became interested in the much-neglected body of Scottish renaissance choral
music.
He now once more lives and sings in Edinburgh, where he
works as a primary school teacher.
